Mr. Del Castillo is a Colombian born Architect, graduated with honors from the U.J.T.L. University in Cartagena de Indias, where he received the Jorge Tadeo Lozano Award, the highest academic distinction conferred by this Institution. 

In 2004, after having worked for several renowned Architectural firms in Cartagena, he moved to Miami where he started to work as a Lead Designer for Borges + Associates, developing large scale projects in the United States, Latin America and the Middle East. During that time he met with Miley Trejo, and rapidly the duet became a powerful asset to the firm.

He moved to Spain in 2007, where he completed a Master of Architecture from the E.T.S.A.M. the Superior Technical School of Architecture of Madrid, one of the most iconic architecture schools around the world. During that period he collaborated with 2G Arquitectos. 

In 2015, after spending an academic research summer with RCR Arquitectes (Pritzker Prize Laureates) in Olot, he returned to Miami and was invited to Join M3O Architecture as a Design Director.

Mr. Del Castillo is also a Licensed Architect in Colombia where he has practiced independently on a wide range of project types ( www.delcastilloschiffino.com ). In 2018 was nominated for the Architect of the Year Award by the Colombian Society of Architects. He also holds a degree in Conservation and Restoration of the Architectural Heritage by the U.J.T.L. and Postgraduate studies in Landscape Architecture by the University of Barcelona and the BUNKA foundation.
